A Sydney woman has detailed her fury at being hit with high eftpos fees over the weekend, declaring she’s being “ripped off using my money”.

“Over the weekend every debit transaction incurred a transaction. Is this the new norm?” Marrisa, who was identified by just her first name, told 2GB radio.

“I feel like I’m being ripped off using my money. It’s not a credit card”.
