Six youths have been arrested after they allegedly stole cars and led police on a wild chase through major city streets before crashing into a motorist.
It allegedly kicked off just after 12.30am on Monday when a resident of Coromandel Valley in the Adelaide Hills reported his car had been stolen.
A police helicopter spotted the Mitsubishi Pajero on Shepherds Hill Rd, which links to Adelaide’s outer south, in the company of a second allegedly stolen vehicle, a white Volkswagen Amarok.
The cars travelled onto Sturt Rd, where police spiked the wheels of the Volkswagen, but police said the vehicle kept going.

The Pajero, meanwhile, allegedly travelled on the wrong side of Sturt Rd and collided with a Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Marion Rd at Mitchell Park.
Police then arrested the occupants of the Pajero and took them to hospital, where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 15-year-old boy from Albert Park, and the two passengers, a 13-year-old boy from Davoren Park and a 16-year-old boy from Brooklyn Park, were all charged with serious criminal trespass and theft of a motor vehicle.
